Our client is a top level Advertising Agency with one mantra:

Right now, they are seeking a Strategic Planner with the proven ability to creatively and expertly map the course of client campaigns across the full spectrum of media (This agency offers a full range of integrated marketing and media from TTL, Digital, buying and planning a PR and event management.)

As this is an Agency that is way ahead of the field, you are going to have to be a thoroughbred :)
You are going to have to have at least 5 years experience as an Agency Strategy Planner, and be able to demonstrate highly creative planning abilities based on acutely insightful thinking (sorry for all the adverbs).
The right candidate for this role will be an individual who is adept at defining and understanding target audiences, their lifestyles, the decisions they make, their relationship with brands and how products fit into their everyday lives.
They will be capable of uncovering core insights into the attitudes and behaviour of the consumer and bringing this to bear on creative briefs that are focused, logical and creatively inspiring.
They will be capable of working closely with creative teams to ensure that the consumer's perspective is reflected in the agency's product. 
They will be able to understand research techniques (both qualitative and quantitative) and be able to recommend and execute various methodologies.
They will be able to expertly analyze trend reports and market data.
They will have excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills are a must as well as ability to multi-task and be self motivated. Responsible for the consumer relevance of the brand communication strategy and the execution for the brands.
